F.I.T. (Functional Integrated Training)

F.I.T. moves away from the simple weight training movements and couples core stability with weight training to increase the intensity and improve the carry-over to daily activities.

Core and abdominal conditioning have become synonymous in recent years. However, the abdominal muscles only share a small portion of the load when it comes to core stability. The "core" consists of a group of muscles that stabilize the spine, pelvis, hips and shoulders to provide a solid foundation of movement for the extremities.

A proper core or F.I.T. program targets all these groups to be effective and improves movement coordination, energy transfer, body weight shifting and directional change. A strong core also serves to distribute loads and protect the lower back and joints from injury.

Our staff members have specialty training and continuously work to develop and improve on the F.I.T. program for our clients and patients. A simple core program can be performed at home but, advanced F.I.T. programs, as provided by our professionally certified training staff, can benefit your health and fitness.
